Our Story
Behind the Scenes Academy was born out of passion, experience, and a desire to inspire the next generation of performers. Founded by director Jasmine Taylor while the Academy began as a creative outlet it has quickly evolved into a thriving platform for young talent.

With nearly two decades of industry experience, Jasmine created BTSA to offer more than just technical training — it's about mentorship, confidence-building, and preparing students for real-world opportunities on and off the stage. The Academy also places a strong focus on communication and public speaking, helping students become articulate, self-assured individuals equipped for any audience.

BTSA now proudly leads and expands LAMDA departments at prestigious schools such as Feltonfleet Preparatory School and Hampton Court House, working with over 150 students through bespoke performing arts programmes, workshops, and clubs tailored to each school’s ethos.

Rooted in authenticity, professionalism, and creativity, BTSA is committed to empowering young voices and nurturing confident performers ready to shine — wherever their path may lead.
